Golden Boy Golden boy is the depiction of the universal conflict between right and wrong using the vehicle of the dilemma between artistic self-fulfillment and destruction through the brutal domain, boxing. It is a play for all times and any time and thus whether it be 1937, 2012 or 2037 it is always appropriate and current.
